Poll: anti-social creatures...

Just from reading the "i have a girlfriend thread" I'm getting the feeling that many of you are anti-social. I'm a pretty "computer nerd-ish" kinda guy but still have had gf's even though I'm not a party person etc. I'm just curious as to what the group in general has had in the line of experience with g/f's (or b/f's in the ladies cases). So if you're like 15-16 or older (younger than that and you most liekly won't have a g/f I'd imagine...you know don't want to skew the results here) go on and vote for how many people you've had a relationship with.

edit: post your age hereso it gets bumped and so we can kinda guage the results (30 y/o's should have been involved with more people than 20 year olds, etc)

Agreed. And I spend to much money on my computer to have any for social activities (could I have that 12 step please?)

Had a girlfriend hiatus through senior year... but then I met my love who I've been with for almost three years now. We went to prom and now we're at the same university... 3rd year already! Wow!

I have self-proclaimed social anxiety disorder. I had a great social life in HS, but coming to college I haven't had time for anything but study study study. Sure I have some friends from my classes, but we don't hang out or party or anything.

Example of social anxiety disorder: my room is right off of the kitchen. If there is someone (housemate) in the kitchen, It feels uncomfortable for me to go out. Then I'd have to say Hi and all of that social crap.

Wow that's totally backwards for me, I was a complete outcast in high school and since I got to University I have lots and lots of friends (both male and female, but no &quot;special&quot; female friend)

Antisocial? Well I don't spend that much time on the computer but if I had to choose between going to a party of re-desiging the sound system at school, I would go have fun re-wiring.

Talking to people and having fun is mentally draining. I would rather be taking the SAT's. That isn't to say I don't do anything fun or am not popular. There are just times I can't stand people. Having a girlfriend would be an absolute sinkhole for time, money, emotional energy... I have more worthwhile things at the moment like keeping up a 4.7GPA.
