I am going to be flying quite a bit within the next year (minimum 30,000 miles, maybe as much as 100,000) with many of those flights being transatlantic, so the question which is better? I am leaning towards American because seatguru.com rates their transatlantic 777 as the best, and they are partners with British Airways for miles. Your thoughts as to which is preferable?

Delta, rocks, imo.

Have always had good service with them...esp. on Transatlantic flights.
 
ive lost bags on delta... missed connections b/c delta flights were late, and then they wouldnt even put me up in a hotel

I've had that w/Northworst and USAir.

Delta has TONS of transatlantic flights and a pretty good FF program to boot.

i think american put the seats back in its planes and got rid of the extra inch of legroom
