Oh hello I was thinking of buying that card as AGP 32MB. I wanted:
1) a 2nd card to supplement my pci one for 2 monitor display
2) TV and maybe capture facilities
3) fair DVD playback

I thought this card would be good as I wouldn't waste a pci slot with a separate TV card you see.
I KNOW they do the PRO version now but I can get this model at heavy discount (like £83).

Is image quality decent, and DVD pleasing on it? Any gripes? Is the 3D just too slow to bother with nowadays? I know it ain't VERY FAST but it seems an attractive package. Much obliged for any comments.

It's not bad at normal applications (DVDand so on), but i think it isn't that good in games but judging by your post you won't play any.

I've been running a AIW 128 Pro for about 2 weeks with a Duron 600 and MSI K7T Pro mb. The DVD playback is excellant. A while back I had a Hollywood Plus decoder card and this is better. I was having a little trouble getting the DVD to function, but did a reinstall of windows and now all is working fine. I also run my TV antenna into the card and get a great picture of my monitor. Have recorded several TV programs with good results. I like the card a lot, but admit, I don't do much gaming.

The features are great, and while by no means the cutting edge in 3D, it does get the job done in games.

Thanks guys but I drew back from buying it when
a) they tried to sting me for an extra £12 for the bare card. It doesn't cost half that to send it.
b) i fiddled around with my pain in the arras SIII a bit more and got it to boot.

When I look at the allinwonder it doesn't seem that great:
1) even cheap TV cards can record from video sources
2) 3D speed a year or more uncompetitive
3) other cards also have some DVD assist.
I would prefer the flexibility and better capability of different cards in their respective areas. All in wonders don't have teletext as far as I know, or Nicam stereo.
