LOL.

As much as it pained me to do it, I clicked "liberal - Sharpton," primarily out of concern of possible Supreme Court appointments in the next four years. God knows what a Sharpton presidency would look like, but that's why we have 3 branches of government!

Yikes... 3 to 1 Sharpton....

Either we have a very vocal crowd against Bush voting, or this countries future is seriously screwed.

(I'm going with a bit of both :) )

I don't see how you guys do it. I've been here like 4 years (before conjur even!) and I just broke 1,000 posts.

Ah, crap. Conjur joined AT on my birthday. I'm sure that's bad luck.

Hmm. Speaking of the supreme court, who would retire under a sharpton presidency? I'm assuming rehnquist is waiting for a Bush 2nd term (or for him to be in the past 2 months of his first), before doing so.

From what I understand about supreme court justices, they are highly protective of their jobs and their successor. Though that could be the reason none of them have retired under the Bush administration's first term.

Now here's a post that will satisfy no one.

I find Al Sharpton to be an interesting character, but I wouldn't want him for President any more than I'd want Bush. But, I'd take Sharpton over Bush simply because the man would be the funniest President to date by a wide margin.

Of course, we might be spending $200 billion on the inner cities of America rather than the outer cities of Iraq. Wouldn't that be a revoltin' development? :)

Imagine a Sharpton/Marion Barry president with Luis Farrakahn as attorney general. OMFG, I would move to Canada!!
