June. Probably more focussed, but may be as much as $1.5trillion. $800 billion is far short of what's needed.

I really don't get why we are messing around with these small numbers. Why not just write a check for a septillion dollars and create a trillion jobs and fix the entire worlds economy for a hundred years? I mean we are already giving away money we don't have, does it reall matter how much pretend money we give away?

You'll see more stimulus packaged with the UHC bill, which can't come soon enough.

I'm hoping UHC gets passed within the next year or two.

Further to Sactoking's last comment, if a politician says "unequiovocally, no" in response to a question about their corruption, it means "hell yes".

Screw $1.5trillon. I think $6trillion is needed. Shit, lets just round up to $10T since we are at it.

The idea is to make up the GDP shortfall. Some $2.x trillion.

It doesn't really matter. They can throw all the debt they want at this. Debt won't fixit. But what it will do is assure us of not being able to pay interest on the princple sooner.

Sadly another one is coming:
Meanwhile, the White House isn't ruling out a second economic plan, although none is in the works right now, spokesman Robert Gibbs said Tuesday.
Source

I'm close to changing my excemptions so I pay no taxes. Then come April 15th I'll decide to pay my taxes or pull a Geithner and not pay them.

This government seems to be begging for a revolution and a bloody one at that.

Fail much? Seriously, blaming this on Obama is the height of stupidity.

I think he means government in a general sense. Unfortunately the dems and repubs are both incompetent.

Blame obama for passing obama's "stimulus" bill and hearing his press speaker hint at another trillion dollar bill...who should I blame?

Seriously, explain to me how obama's bill is NOT obama's bill.

If this mess did not exist, this Bill(and other stimulus to come) would not exist. Obama has no choice in this matter.

He has plenty of choice. Only about 20% of this bill is being spent this year. There is plenty of time do it right, rather than shave it though congress as if there is no tomorrow.

Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters the White House was open-minded about another stimulus effort. But he stressed that there were no plans in the works for one.

It's my belief that whenever a politician opens their mouth, if they don't say "Unequivocally, no" they they really mean is "Yes".

Well damn that was fast I was way off picking next year. Obama is going to make Bush look like Washington by spending us into bankruptcy in record time. It is almost comical right now how much Obama and his party want to spend.

I saw October right before holiday season to try to prop up the retailers and give a false sense of security for consumers. Next stimulus may be smaller around the 500 billion target and may be a handout check to people like the stimulus checks from last year.
