Like any of us sitting here on Anandtech at 1:30am (4:30 eastern) on a Saturday night have any excuse. If I had RJ-45 implants I'd plug straight in. Safer than crack I guess. (although that remains to be seen)

yep yep...hard to pull away, theres so much going on. not just the internet though - computing in general, although much of it is the internet.

at least a couple irc channels that i want to pay attention in, AT forums, mailing lists, skimming slashdot stories, other news sites, coding stuff, reading stuff, etc...

i usually stay up till at least 6am. worst has been 9+am

Yup.

Last night I was up til 1:30, that's about the normal time. Before I do anything in the mornings, I get up, fall into the chair at the end of the bed, and turn on the monitors of the 2 computers sitting next to each other in my room. On one, I open browser, and go to AT. On the other, I check eMule to see what's finished downloading.

I sit down for about an hour, catching up on DC, then check OT for a while. Then, after that, i'll go have a shower, get some food, then come back to the computer to eat the food. Then, I'll go check some other forums, and try to get some more ideas on my server case mod I'm doing, then come back to AT. Then, depending on how far it is past 1pm (and i've probably only been up a couple of hours by now), I'll go do some work on my server case, stopping every 1/2hr for a 5 min break from drilling/cutting, and check back on AT again.

Then comes a little later, dinner time. I'll have dinner, then come upstairs again, post the Seventeen Or Bust Distributed Computing Project stats in DC, then browse AT for the rest of the night. I may sometimes go in and have a few minutes playing CS, or SOF2. I'd also chat to my friends at Uni all during the day on MSN.


Am i addicted to the net...sure am! I get severly pissed when the net connection goes down, and get very grumpy

prolly been online for 6 of the last nine hours,....the other three i used to eat, watch tv, and play pc games

oh, and when i get up at 5am to get ready for work, i spend 6 minutes getting dressed, one brushing my teeth, and the other 40 at ATOT
