POLL: Acura RSX or Toyota Celica??

Probably RSX, but i like the look of the Celica better... but then again, i like the old Integra better than the RSX.

If i had the money though, i would get a 350Z... gorgeous car, with just insane hp for the price. I've never been a big car fan, but for the price of the 350z, it's one gorgeous car, and with just awesome performance.

Keyword, BASE. I'd much rather go top of the line civic than low-rent camry, if you know what I mean.

A base 350z isn't a base camry. The 350z even in base form is a better car than the rsx atleast IMO.

OK, granted. That really wasnt my main point. The base 350z is not *loaded*, though it may have more power. and its 3K more.

SRT4... it may be fugly but it's faster than anything you're looking at... and not looking at (WRX).

And yes, the enthusiast version of the 350Z is going to be better than a RSX TypeS loaded in nearly every way. So what if you don't get leather seats.

Now a celica is, on the other hand, a chick car 😉

the one they sell here in the US are indeed girly cars (hey, I have an ST - just looks fast but in reality is not)..

But the 6th gen GT4 (Turbocharged,4WD) is not a girly car (they sell them all over the place in australia and new zealand, low mileage too)..

RSX is probably a bit better, but i voted for the Celica anyways, since i've not driven in either of the newer ones, and i liked the celica i rode in once, and it's toyota, i like toyota 😀

Don't get a used Audi. They're expensive to maintain, and yes, they generally will need more of it than an Acura or Toyota. I not only like the RSX-S, but I also think that the base RSX is great. Cheaper to buy by $4000, almost certainly cheaper to insure, loads of standard equipment, yet still quicker, lighter, and better than a Civic Si, while getting better mileage. Do you really need more than 160 HP in a car that size? What would you need it for? Road rage? Trust me, I've driven all kinds of cars from just about everyone, and 160 HP is plenty to have a fun drive in a car like that. 🙂

it would be great if the smaller cars do have 160 - but most MFG's lie.. they quote you the crank HP - not the wheel..

They ALL lie, then. I think it's a given that when talking about an engine's HP, they'd be measuring it from the crank.

You're within spitting distance of a used IS300 or a CL/TL-S.

Why buy economy when you can get luxury for the same price?

GM has some fine products, but no competitive sports cars like these under 2800 Lbs with over 160-200 HP that get around 30 MPG.
