POLL: about the legalization of prostitution

Round 2.

Nah, the debate continues in the other thread. I'll be content with a bump once in a while. I'm not trying to make a point, just curious what the results will be.

I suppose I "support" it, but i probably wouldnt go out of my way to vote... but hell, if it became legal, id definately give it a shot.

What about the decriminalization of prostitution, not the legalization of it? Doesn't legalization imply regulation?

Just a thought.

Decrim doesn't solve anything, just means that it isn't a felony but rather a misdemeanor. We can discuss this, but take it to the other thread.

I think this very question is why it will take a HELL of a fight and a long time for prostitution to become legal; anyone who supports it would be labeled and adulterer and a deviant, and so long as our gov't is built upon image, no one will be willing to stand up and say that they can support it without ever participating in it. They'd be laughed out of office.

I don't support legalization of prostitution but I would visit prostitutes???
Is that somebody who just likes breaking laws for the heck of it?

I support the legalization of it, but I doubt if my wife would let me visit them 😀

I support it with the government's hands being off the matter, but would not visit . Controlled substances, gambling, and automatic weapons too for that matter. Wouldn't do any of it (except maybe the weapons).

all i wonder is if the govt regulates it, would govt workers get discounts?

btw- i approve of it being legal, but to be honest, american wages are so high, that it would be cheaper to fly to amsterdam and do it. thats what people do now anyways.
