bombing won't do much .. clinton did that to try to get rid of binladen and it didn't do anything .. we need to send it troops and sadly lives will be lost. but it has to be done.

Nuking them off the face of the Earth may not be possible (however desirable) due to the close proximity of Israel and other allies. However, napalm bombs and propane bombs are extremely nasty and I would still be satisfied to see thousands of them burning to death from napalm that won't come off, or thousands of them lying dead, having had the air sucked out of their lungs by propane bombs.
Just not quite as satisfied as knowing that their ashes glow in the dark.

I know, but today's nukes are seriously powerful and the fallout and radiation would have an impact over a very large area. Unless they use tactical nukes, of course.

  • 51 percent ?strongly? favored ?immediate? air strikes against the strongholds of terrorists ?who are believed to be the most likely responsible.?

  • Nine in 10 said the attacks were the most tragic event of their lifetime.

  • Two thirds said the United States should retaliate even if innocent people are killed. Majorities of men and women favored that step, though men were more likely to favor it.

This is the opinion of our nation. I want some of you Europeans, no names named, to look at this and think about it before you spout off about how you think our solutions are wrong, we can't fight terrorism, etc.

83 percent supported ?forceful military action? against the people responsible, even at the risk of retaliation or the threat of war. Eight percent opposed that, 9 percent were not sure

Wow, that is amazingly high! Geez, even the democrats are all for this.

Anyways, i don't think Bin Laden will give himself up easily, so we'll have to bomb Afghanistan... if we can, i think we should overthrow the government with as few dmgs as possible, and allow the Northern Alliance to rule (that's why we should do as little dmg as possible, so the Northern Alliance will have some infrastructure still in place). Then have their help in locating Bin Laden (since they know the mountain terrain much better than the US).

Then after Bin Laden is killed, they should move onto Iran, and wipe out that government as well... i'm sure we'll see evidence that they supported Bin Laden.

Then we'll do the same to any other nations that supported Bin Laden.

I think they should finish off Saddam in Iraq while they're at it too.

I think Iran now has a pro-West, moderate president interested in reforms. Too bad that the old regime is still trying to control things. Also, I think Iran and the Taliban are not on good terms since they battle each other over border disputes, etc....

They are saying on NBC right now that it IS Bin Laden (surprise).

Sigh...
