Recent poll results from an Observer/ICM poll using confidential questions has revealed that 60% of Britons think prostitution should be legalised. 25% of those polled also felt gay sex should be illegal.

Welsh were found to have the most partners, 13 as opposed to the average of 10. Scots it seems are the most unfaithful with more than a third admitting to cheating at least once. Londoners are the most faithful, only 7% admitted cheating.

Sex with work colleague?s came in at 31%, and half of those liaisons were in the workplace. Sneaking a non-colleague into the office for a quick fling, 5%. And near one third of Scots say they would use sex to gain a promotion or pay rise.

So if all the religious biggots didn't count(25% who are so uptight they don't want gays to live their life) then in reality it would be closer to 80% of Briton's want prostitution legalized...

Hmmm... might have to move soon :D

u can tax regulate and keep the scummy peeps out. its win win:p

unless you want topush it under ground and pretend it doesn't exist. then people suffer.

u have to wonder how many prostitutes have been killed over the years. certain human life doesn't matter to some people i guess:p

Prostitution is a true victimless crime. While some may argue that the prostitute herself (himself..) is the victim, that is only the case due to circumstances, and due to the difficulties working that job given that it's currently illegal. If someone wants to be a prostitute, or wants to purchase the services of a prostitute, there should be no reason why this should be disallowed by law. Prostitutes can be licensed, checked for health concerns, taxed.. Doing so will nearly eliminate the poor conditions many currently work under.

Religion-based moral thoughtcrimes are, to me, reprehensible.

yup. stupid statements like that ignore evidence. in nevada std transmission is basically nil. in illegal prostitution its another case all together. not to mention once a john has it, it spreads to his g/f and all his other partners. massive spread.

but u know.. they deserve it :p

Never said I was against it, but I would naturally think it would spread faster. More people would take advantage of sleeping around... Not going to take my time to look at Nevada's STD transmission but if it doesn't.. guess I'm wrong. Sorry all knowing great one. ;):p I ask for forgiveness. :D

no prob. its just that the statistics show different:) regulated prostitutes have to constantly take and pass std tests. protection is used 100% of the time.

One of the oldest trades known to mankind. Legal in some other European countries such as Germany, Holland.
