I have a 36inch Toshiba ND and love it. Great quality for the price and very good picture.

If I get the Zenith (Made by LG electronics..) I'll use an antenna and pull HD over the air. If I get the 36 inch tosh I'll cancel digital cable and just get regular cable.


I watch a lot of regular tv; and a movie every now and then. I also play xbox a couple times a week at best.

Tough call. Toshiba is really good, but if the Zenith has great reviews and is HD and is roughly the same price, I'd go for the HD.

is this going in a family room/entertainment room or in a bedroom? If a bedroom, stick with the smaller size b/c it's too big. I have a 32" in my bedroom and regret not getting a 27".

It's for a living room for sure. I already have a 27 in the bedroom.


I sit around 10 feet or so from the tv.

are you kidding? hd all the way, for four inches less (pretty small percentage difference when it gets to 30+ inches) you get a lot better quality.
