polk r15s 99 shipped

Picked up a pair of these at Fry's Grand Opening sale in Atlanta for $49. They have them on sale every now and then so watch for their sale ad in Friday's papers where they have locations.

Thanks for your information, but not everybody has a Fry's near them. Why don't you start your own thread instead of trying to steal Jokersmoker's?

I love the way Polk Speakers sound. Not the greatest bass in the world or the loudest out there, but a very smooth sound that sounds better than their price. Fry's in Houston also had these last week for 49.99. The current offer is 159.99 for a set of R50's (2-6.5" woofers)

I had some rt25i speakers a while back. They were on sale for $99 each. Stereophyle magazine said they were some of the best speakers tested under $600. Granted that is their opinion I do think they were great speakers for the money.

I went to fried to get the $49 deal and the guy ended up convincing me to get the Polk Monitor 30's.... love them to death... just need the floor standing ones so i can put these bad boys in the rear.... then for a center channel...hmm...

If i didn't have an entire paradigm speaker setup i would get these.....but since i have paradigm im opting for paradigm atoms instead.

fry's had the R15s for cheap today as well.

the R50s sound pretty good. if i didn't already have R30s for my surrounds i'd pick up 2 more R50s.

R30s are a little low so i need to boost them on something. i'd just as soon use cinder blocks but they don't go with my roommate's interior decorating.
