Order from Crutchfield for $799.99. There is a promotion going on right now that if you order any Polk Audio Home Theater Speaker System, you will get a free PSW202 and 2 free HTB2 speaker stands. The RM6600 already comes with a subwoofer (PSW350) so no need for the PSW202. The PSW202 retails at Crutchfield for $199.99. Therefore, if you do not need the extra subwoofer, they will subtract the $199.99 from the $799.99, and you still get the free speaker stands. The shipping will not be any more than $15.99 for basic shipping (2-3 day delivery). The lowest price anywhere else on the internet for the RM6600 without the subwoofer (PSW350) is $650, and $759 with the subwoofer (PSW350). So you are getting the cheapest price with the quality service of Crutchfield, as well as Crutchfield being an authorized dealer of Polk Audio equipment. There are reviews of this speaker package all over the internet, not limited to, but including the following:

Circuit City is running the same deal (free PSW202 sub, 200 dollars credit towards another sub if you dont want the 202). I would rather go to CC and pick up one (don't have to pay for shipping, return is also a lot easier). Also, get the 6700 instead of the 6600. The 6700 is the replacement of the 6600 (they have the same price)

Hmm... did you speak to a CSR about getting $200 back on the system? The reason why I ask is that the details of the offer say

"To get a $199.99 credit toward the purchase of another Polk Audio subwoofer or other Polk Audio home product, complete your order by phone at 1-888-955-6000, 8 AM to 12 midnight Eastern Time."

That sounds like a bit of circular logic there. You are buying more than $499 worth of polk products to get the offer. Then you're apply the offer back to the original product? Why wouldn't they just give you $199 off in the first place? Sounds like you need to make an additional / separate polk product purchase

I don't have the package, but I do have the PSW350. IT KICKS ASS! Great, thundering bass. Not overpowering. I don't have a large room (maybe 15ft x 12ft), so I don't turn the volume very high on it. I believe the PSW350 can easily power much bigger rooms.

Bought it by itself (@CircuitCity) for around $350. Dunno if the other components are worth $250, but if they are worth over that much, it sounds like a good deal. I doubt you would need an extra sub though, unless you have two rooms. I wouldn't pay $650 for the system w/o the PSW350. Buy the sub - it's worth it!

Used this deal also....I called up cruthfield and they let me buy a pair of RTi28's, a psw404, + a monster LFE cable for $530 shipped. They said that the deal equates to: buy $700 worth of polk audio, and then get $200 off. But the final total must be over $500.

Crutchfield right now have 3 dollars shipping. That sure beats the taxes. As for return stuff if you don't like it or for exchange, they send out the ups return label with your products. Just call crutchfield up and the ups guy will drop by your house to pick it up. That is all I have to do when I send in my receiver for repair.

sounds like a good deal. if you are in san diego, Fry's has this exact setup for either less than $500 or $550 at the most. what's more appealing is the RM6000 for $195. that's 4 sats, a center, and 8" woofer for less than $200. Polks aren't the greatest speakers, but that would make a nice gift.
