polk audio monitor hookup question

I just got a pair of the Monitor 70's. The manual sucks. Do I keep or remove the metal tabs that connect both the binding posts. Im not bi-wiring

Keep them. They can be discarded if you're bi-wiring, but since you aren't, you'll need them, or else you won't be powering the entire speaker (at least, that's my understanding).

Audiophiles will sometimes suggest that you remove them and replace them with cables. I've got one of mine replaced and the other in stock, I cannot tell the difference.
