Religion threads in OT are identical to P&N threads: the OP begs everyone not to get offended, everyone spills their heart out about their worldview for 3 or 4 pages without reading anyone else's post, and then it devolves into a flamewar between religious and atheist nutjobs.

They're lame and repetitive, and they shouldn't belong in ATOT.

Why not ignore them if they bother you?

Under that line of reasoning we might as well move all of P&N back into OT and try to sort through what belongs where.

The point of having sub forums is so the content users want to read is easily accessible and categorized well. They aren't just there for show.

LOL, as if the other topics aren't lame and repetitive in OT. FYI, OT was created specifically for religious threads. Back before there was an OT all topics were discussed in what is now known of General Hardware. Because of all the religious debates taking place there Anand decided to create Off Topic just so the religious topics could be discussed without interfering with Computer related topics.

That was 10 years ago... I'm sure times have changed quite a bit 😉
