Political Shamelessness- let me not both sides it - Bill Barrasso style

This interview with John Barrasso was thoroughly depressing. I understand politicians have a level of shamelessness, but this was startling. Why would you do an interview attacking progressives for holding back a bill you say Americans want, while YOU VOTED AGAINST THAT SAME BILL. A bill that would help your very poor state. Why would you think you should be the one making that point, unless you thought no one would bring that up.

Politicians suck, the system sucks and the only way to be in it is to suck. I think it's probably always been that way and always will be.

While this sounds a lot like some of my angry Bernie-supporting friends in 2016, where I diverge from this is when you start talking about the amount of suck. One side sucks worse, on average, so my voting decisions are made very easy indeed.

If I had to choose between being bitten by a great white or a lab, they both will hurt but I'm going with the lab (to get it to bite you'll have to fool it into thinking you are food or perhaps a ball.) And like Rush sang, if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice....
