18, though some of the questions give false dilemmas. This quiz isn't the best I've seen.

----------------

1. "Trust" - 0 points.
"Distrust" gets 2 points.
The major difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals tend to trust
government while conservatives do not.

2. Any of the following gets 1 point (for a maximum of 5 points):
The Pentagon
The executive branch
The FBI
The CIA
The Joint Chiefs

Any of the following gets 0 points:
The U.S. Postal Service
The legislative branch
The I.R.S.
The Peace Corps
The United Nations

Liberals would pick the U.S. Postal Service, the I.R.S., the Peace Corps, the United Nations,
and the legislative branch because they tend to believe in these institutions.

3. Any of the following gets 1 point (for a maximum of 3 points):
Doctors
Business Executives
Team Owners

These answers score 0 points:
Trial Lawyers
Union Leaders
Professional Athletes

Liberals favor trial lawyers over doctors, and workers over executives because they tend to
distrust businessmen and favor their workers and advocates.

--------------

Their explanation of the answers is unsubstantiated.

Almost fell for it, but it's a test for people and by people like Zentroll.

Who do you trust more Trial Lawyers or Doctors? HTF is that a legit question? For legal advice the lawyers, for medical the doctors, but I see the question is just bait to verify the paranoia and world illusion conservatives already have.

Not at all, can you deny this is a loaded test that is written for people like you? These are in no way real political questions.

18. According to that quiz you'd really have to be off your rocker to be a Reagan Republican.

Any question that claims to know which political institution a group trusts in is no innocent questionairre.

I got a 16.

Some of the questions I couldn't really answer in accordance with my opinion:

3. What about private institutions and people? Which do you trust more?
Professional athletes or
Team owners?

I don't trust either and think they're both greedy, useless scum who receive far too much tax money. (Any would be too much.)

10. Which would curb violent crime most?
Stricter controls on the sale of guns
Mandatory sentences for those who use guns in the commission of a crime
Both

I don't think either of those options are right. I want to see Florida-style concealed carry expanded to all 50 states with very minimal restrictions. When criminals fear getting killing when they murder/rape/rob, they'll think twice. Right now, its open season on the innocent.

11. In the long run, do you think we can reduce crime more by building more prisons or providing more financial assistance to rebuilding our inner cities?
Build prisons
Rebuild cities
Both

How about ending the failed drug war and decriminalizing marijuana? Haven't we learned anything from prohibition?

That's probably the biggest one. Pro-sports are very profitable. There's no reason why teams can't fund their own stadium construction.

It's not much sillier than most other "political quizes."

The point is not where you stand on their scale, it's where you stand in relation to other people who've taken the test.

Many of them are starting to. The Giants for example just financed their own stadium. Of course if they're financing the stadium then the state should have to pay the team to use it.

That's a good point ... however, state investment in stadiums has continually shown to be one of the worst investments for states, regarding how much they get out of that investment.

I don't see why any state should pay for stadiums when these players are earning millions of dollars a season. If the teams can afford to pay those salaries, they can afford to build their own stadiums.

21 and some of those questions are kind of not really one way or the other. Oh well, like every other political test, I score slightly right of the middle/center.

That depends on the stadium. If the team can locate itself in another state, your state stands to lose millions in tax revenue, kind of like the Giants in NJ.

Of course stadiums have been shown to have other purposes (ie Superdome), but if they're privately owned they can no longer serve as disaster rescue points.

man that was a stupid quiz... 26

Which do you trust more:

The Pentagon or
The U.S. Postal Service?

um, the pentagon charges too much for delivery, so I went with the Post Office.
