I have a major interview next week for a job in sacramento, ca. The interview is for a political job. I am 1 of 60 canidates for 18 possisions. They ask you very open ended questions. Other than spam legislation what on the state level would be good to see worked out in California relating to technology? The more advanced and complex the better!

DRM's potential violation of Fair Use law.
Internet privacy.

MachFive all yours are much more federal than state.

re: sales tax that is interesting, I of course don't want it but as it stands now you should be paying those taxes voluntarily when you buy something. if not you are breaking the law.
