The fight was in Poland and it looks like the opponent was very weak, still it may be that in few years time he will be an interesting opponent for Brock and Fedor...

The fight is here:

I don't know about his punching technique but those are some crushing kicks. Looks like 313 pounds of pure muscle.

Pretty interesting Wikipedia:

* 4th in his very first WSM competition, won 5 total, most of anyone
* Breakfast is 10 eggs and 2-3 pounds of bacon, lol
* "He is an absolute world-level champion [rugby]" according to amateur rugby coach
* In 2005, Mariusz formed a musical group called Pudzian Band, with himself as a singer
* On 27 May 2008 he graduated with bachelor's degree in international relations.
* Mariusz spent 19 months in prison (for beating the crap out of a mofia boss who was beating the crap out of a 18 yr old kid, 2000)
* Mariusz took part in the 2008 Polish version of Dancing with the Stars, eventually finishing in second place overall. (much due to popularity in voting, not judging.)

Pudzianowski is freakishly strong. But I imagine there's a lot more to fighting than just being really strong.

I dont see a future for him in serious MMA.

Heads up,
Mariusz has 4th kyu in Kyokushin Karate
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyokushin_kaikan

which is the toughest Karate. Green belt in Kyokushin means that he had to practice for at least 5 years to achieve this rank.
Here is how the Kyokushin training looks like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVAHJp7YfGo (make sure to watch all parts, and the training for Kyokushin is this tough everywhere. For example, when you get promoted to the next rank you have to go through a tunnel full of people who beat u up with their belts to celebrate - happened to me too)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghcRs9QpZbA :)

He was also a boxer
He is very nimble for his size:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIOLIAuBp8s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJyS6UoZhlk

Uh....
Not to mention his regular, strong man training:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEfqYRVeH2g
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PovBRpNpetU

Here is M. actually speaking English:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esZocJVlW4c

Overall, he seems like a very, very decent guy, like when he talks he is not crazy or stupid or anything, just a regular guy who tries to do everything the best...
So, if Mariusz wants, Mariusz gets, there is no stopping him...

surprised by the legkicks. they looked pretty damn vicious.

wonder how much he weighs though. looks absolutely huge and there's a 265 pound limit for HW in the UFC. also hope his current build isn't illegal substance aided and that he has the cardio to complement that build.

Does he have any fighting skills other than what's been posted in the OP vid? I'd like to see him fight in the UFC

4th kyu in Kyokushin.
Please check out my YT links above about Kyokushin.
The rules will be modified for Mariusz though, instead of breaking baseball bats, he has to kick through telephone poles.

I know you guys like that crap, but it's a barbaric throwback that should be removed from civilized society.

For the guys who have an urge to do that, it is better to do it in a legal, controlled environment rather than on the street in a dark. They'll do it anyway so why not make an entertainment out of it?

Edit:
Mariusz can bench press up to 630 lb....
This is his personal record.

it's entertaining, and unlike boxing, is a *complete* sport. and you've never ever wanted to kick the shit out of someone?

with lots of training that guy could definitely go UFC. those kicks were absolutely vicious - i would not want to be on the receiving end of those.
