Serioulsy? Lol that's awesome. I wonder if Obama will find time to play it in his busy schedule.

I heard about this from a friend the other day, and all that came to mind (aside from the initial disbelief) is if he got the collectors edition.

I wonder if The Witcher 2 already is, is becoming, or will become the Polish national pride as much as StarCraft was (or still is) for the South Koreans.

I know, I wasn't referring to the company who made StarCraft, I'm just saying that StarCraft itself turned into SK's national pride for some time (or rather that SK turned the game into that, I'm pretty sure that they never cared about the fact that the company was a "US" one, what's important for them, or what was for some time anyway was the game itself).

I know however that for something to be of national pride it should have been made by the nation in question... but in the case of StarCraft it was rather exceptional.

I doubt he has time to play it, his guest appearance tv schedule seems to keep him busy.

Nah, he takes plenty of vacation time. Should be able to knock it out in a couple weeks. :p

Seriously though, wtf is with heads of state giving such inane gifts these days?

I wonder about that too. The Polish PM seems to be proud enough to give out the Witcher 2 as a presidential gift. I would think he would not go cheap and just give the standard edition. Maybe a special/extra premium edition and signed by the PM and the dev team.
It will possibly be put on a display case for guests/visitors, along with all of the other gifts from different countries.

Highly doubt that Obama played any video game let alone any pc game. His daughters might have played Wii games though.

First time I hear. That's awesome, wonder if he locks in any hours on the game.

I'd vote for Obama in the re-election if I know that he actually installed the game to try it out.
