Polish couple tries to take selfie, falls off cliff

I remember jokes as a kid about Polacks. Specifically I remember the joke about the Polack that broke both his arms. He fell out of a tree raking the leaves. Now there can be a joke about Polacks and selfies.
 
Their young children, ages 5 and 6, were with them and witnessed the accident. They are currently under psychiatric care, according to Polish Radio.

Its amazing this Polish stereotype goes all the way back to the quick takeover of Poland by the Germans in WWII.

You would of thought we would have learned by now.

I worked in Yosemite a number of summers. Stupidity and carelessness by tourists in a place like that respect no particular nationality. Helicopters were hauling dead bodies out of inaccessible places all the time.
 
I think it's safe to assume it was the wife's idea. I know I got my fair share of spontaneous ideas that could have killed us from my spouse.
