I'm quite confused what to think about this. Seems it's a matter of 'ignorance' rather than malevolence. Probably. But I'm not sure.
(given that, for example, a far-right group were all arrested a few years ago, for distributing literature inciting racial hatred in an area of London I used to live in...and the entire membership turned out to be of Polish origin)
