Anyone know the correct name for these? Looking to get one-way windows for my house.

Thanks

They are very common, but they only work during the day but at night you can't see out (it reverses). This is because the side with the light is the side that gets reflected. So if you have a light on at night, people can see in, but you can't see out.

Lots of restaurants have this type of glass ... you see them in action all the time.

And what's said ^ about the reverse effect at night is true... I'm sure you've experienced it.

Can't look out @ night???

That sounds like a huge problem considering my house is on the edge of the street, and I'd like these windows so I can get a little more privacy w/ the shades up...

What they mean is that while its reflective, if the inside of your house is bright, people will see you. It's like mirrored sunglasses. If you hold up a light behind them, you can see the light. If you turn off the light, it will look like a mirror.
