Police in Colombia thwart apparent attempt to assassinate U.S. officials

<< Wonder what kind of point they were trying to make by attempting to kill our US officials? >>

Colombia has a lot of drug activity. The US opposes drug activity. You should be able to fill in the rest.

Attempting to make the point that if the US continues to support anti-drug activity, they will kill people. They are hoping that such acts will have the effect of less US aid to anti-drug activities in Colombia.

until we invade their silly butts like we did to noreiga...Dubya will follow in the footsteps of his father...

<< until we invade their silly butts like we did to noreiga >>

Almost inconceivable. We went into Panama with the specific goal of capturing Manuel Noriega, and that was it. We did not really "invade" Panama. We put some troops in one specific area, accomplished a goal, and pulled out.

I guess the Colombians finally did something with the millions of dollars we send them to control drug traffic. 😉
