Police Chase

I like it when they get away. Unless the driver has committed a violent crime such as rape or murder, they have no place chasing him and possibly causing a wreck which injures innocent bystanders.

i have no sound on this PC.... so

1) near the end, what lane was the car in? were the cars on that lane stopped and just on a slower speed?

2) how come the woman came out from the passenger seat? was there someone in the driver seat? and why is that the first thing she does after the crash is to run to the BMW and seemingly looking for a fight?

She had her mother and baby in the car, thats why she was so upset. It was a big deal here in houston because afterwards a cop publically criticized the houston pd for chasing the dude for so long. He got reprimanded afterwards though.

QFT

Edit: Except for the getting away part. Still the police have NO business chasing someone like that. If they know who he is, they can find him later.

also, so did the mother and baby die?

No sound here. Is that a civilian in that truck that tries to run the guy off the road (around 1:30)?

edit: i hope he's not alone because he is spending a lot of time in the car pool lane! 😉

Im not exactly sure what you are reffering to, but at the end he was going the wrong way on the highway on-ramp. So could be why all the cars are stopped since it would have caused traffic to backup on the onramp.

The baby and mother were fine if i recall correctly.

oh, I didn't realize it was an on ramp, cuz I fastforwarded it to the end.

is that a new 335?

that's a E46-gen, hence, the best could be is a 330i. it got 4 doors so it won't be an M3.

looks to me like a e90 so it could very well be a 335i, look at how small the trunk is and the rear roofline, looks a bit more like an e90 to me, but either way that was some amazing speed.

They don't even have to find him later. How many news/police helicopters were following that guy? They should have backed off on the chase, let the choppers follow the guy and provide location updates.

That way nobody gets hit head-on by a nut-case.

Why? To teach the cops a lesson?
