Police chase from Baltimore to Washington DC area

So when I woke up this morning around 5:30, and there was a highway chase from Baltimore to the Landover area which is about 60 miles.

The whole time, police were trying to box this guy in but he would ram them and get around, until his car started smoking and the hood flew up at which point he hit a pole, lol. GAME OVER.

I heard about it on the radio yesterday on the way up 95 to work.

That video is pretty impressive. I thought that first cop who overtook the guy was going to pull the PIT maneuver but he didnt, then they ended up making him run into the pole hah.

We don't get to see to many of those here due to all the airspace restrictions. I'm really surprised the guy didn't get stuck in traffic given the time it was taking place.

Meh, I'm so familiar with that whole area that I can do the play by play in my head. Complete with potholes.

I'm sure he pissed off a lot of people.
