Pole vault chick made me sad

Look no pictures! Thus, not a babe thread.

Anyway, I guess she stopped competing. This looks like classic: I used to be an athlete and ate everything in sight. Now, I don't compete (as much) and still eat everything in sight case.

I wished she had used her internet fame to launch some random career in TV: Keeping Up With the Track Team. Even now I would not mind seeing more of her.

Oh how the mighty have fallen...

You should post pictures of yourself so we can see just how perfect and flawless YOU are.

it happens a lot.

when i was in highschool i was on the wrestling team. i was at 112 my sr year. i could eat everything around (and did) and not gain a damn pound. it was that way until i turned like 25. now i look at a cheeseburger and i gain a pound.

i watch what i eat and get as much exercise as i can. but man wish i had the metabolism i had at 18 heh

I don't get how this comment is warranted. I was in no way bashing her. Pointing out a possible cause and saying I still wouldn't mind seeing more of her after a more than noticeable weight gain is not a negative commentary.

Oh yeah, and another possible cause is that she got some crazy Thyroid problem. I knew of girls at the highschool level who overcooked themselves with working out and it wreaked havoc on their glands. They were MUCH heavier afterward, even if they kept working out.

which one is she? im confused.

He's talking about Allison Stokke. She was/is a pole vaulter at Berkeley. I had a class with a girl that was also a pole vaulter on her team and apparently they were sometimes confused with each other.

So you're saying girls go to college and develop poor eating, sleeping and exercise habits and as a result put on some weight? I'm absolutely flabbergasted.
