Pole: Salary Survey!

35K. it's on the low end of average, especially for my area, but I have a roommate and no kids, so I live pretty well 🙂 no new cars or vacations, but I'm not exactly living pay check-to-pay check either.

~5%

~500% probably. It requires honesty, which few have. By the way, I make 240k a year.

I doubt there are that many 200k+ people hanging out on ATOT, we can just disregard that.

Honestly, if I made that much, I'd still do all the same stuff I do now. I'd still spend too much time on ATOT, I'd just do it on a constantly upgraded computer w/ one of those LCoS screens... and the Ferrari, we can't forget the Ferrari.

For the record, I'm almost into 6 figures. Been 8 years as an IT guy, in middle management now.

Man, I am so under paid. Clearly, I'm not doing everything right. Three college degrees and still below average for my field..... BUT I can say that I've started my own business and so far, after 10 months, it's still going. Not rich.... yet, but working on it. 🙂

Meh......, I'll break 30k this year which is ok for being 20 I suppose. Still frikin lame to watch others get commision while I do all the work :|.

MUST.......GET........MORE.......SCHOOLING!!!!!!!

I'm still in school, gonna be finished with my bachelors next spring; gonna start looking for a part-time internship in the winter, hopefully I can work 20 hours a week winter and spring and move into a full-time job over the summer, then move back into part time in the fall so I can start my MPA program, then back full time in the winter (for an internship in auditing), then back part time for Spring, then finally into full-time for at few years before law school.

I cannot wait to get a real job! I work for housing right now, I make the equivalent of roughly $10,000 a year.

$5k retail work while not in school
$2k in computer jobs (guess)
$4k savings working for the school as resnet tech, free room/board
$500 as helpdesk tech (guess)

I spend at least this much in hot deals

I dont know what I make
I get paid to work, but I don' really work at all.

My father on the other hand who knows? He is currently working on a 500,000 job right now.

Varies a bit since I run my own consultancy business, but my daily rate works out at about $1500 and I'd look to average 120-140 working days/year, so that gives about $180,000-210,000 if it's all going well.
