POLE: How often do you check eBay?

Just idly wondering, as I browse through eBay during the day again. Wife checks it out a hell of a lot more than I do, though - antiques and such. And her sister basically makes a living off of it.

SO....pole time!

(And search didn't turn up anything, although it really feels like it's a topic too obvious to not have been posted before....thread is gone if it was)

Haven't checked it in years.

Seriously?

Man, can find all kinds of cool stuff there. Just got a 1st edition Razer Boomslang 2000 for cheap, some cool audiobooks, a bunch of kickass old DOS games for, like, pennies, one of those ColorSpyder (*snicker*Spyder*snicker*) color calibration tools, etc.

Neat stuff on there.

I check Ebay when I need to buy something.
Its a good idea to get the price of something.
Make sure you are not paying too much or too little.

Haven't gone there for years thanks to the bad reports here on ATOT.

Serious?

Like what kind?

I mean, just buy from people with high feedback....and if a deal is "too good to be true"....it probably is. It's not rocket science.

Honestly, I think it's that "if a deal is too good to be true" thing that gets ATOT'ers. Reading most the YAGTs, you'd get the feeling that ATOTers lack any kind of common sense at ALL.

I went through a phase a few months back where I was into it, but it just kinda got old for me. Been a few months since I've even been on.

Yeah, toys from childhood are searches I do time to time.

I've picked up quite a few of the old die-cast metal "Force One" jets in original packaging.

I've bought maybe 5 items off eBay in the last year or so. I don't usually "check" there unless I have something specific in my mind I want to get (that's not easily available anywhere else).
