Pole: Are you a part of the bubble nation?

My alma mater is DII in basketball. But I've been a Zags fan for a number of years now, and they are in.

Should be in:

Kentucky [19-11 (9-7), RPI: 39, SOS: 15] Lost at home to Florida but likely has done enough already with the win at Tennessee. A first-game loss in the SECs may cause jitters, but it's hard to see UK not making it at this point. A 3-9 mark vs. the RPI Top 50, with ugly blowout losses to IU and Kansas, is still worth mentioning.

We have had so many #1 seeds lately it was bound to come crashing down. Stop yer fouling Randolph Morris you poonanny!

Hmm...I kinda want to see Northeastern St. out of the Southland Conference get some recognition. They have good victories on the road at Mississippi St. and at Oklahoma St. They lost by 2 at Wichita St.

But one strange thing, they lost against Iowa St. in a tournament in Hawaii. In that game, Iowa St. was mistakenly awarded 1 pt by the scorekeeper (Curtis Stinson hit 1 out of 2 free throws, but the scorekeeper gave Iowa St. two points). Northwestern St. went on to lose in double OT. Kinda makes you go hmm....

Arizona's on the bubble. I can't believe it, we usually have disappointing teams, but they always make the big dance. I'm not sure they'll get in, especially now with our "star player" suspended for a DUI. They have a fairly good chance to get in still i think.

Yep, University of Maryland. After something like 12 straight years in the NCAA tourney, we failed to make it in last year, and this year doesn't look good either. I'm hoping we have a good run in the ACC tournament.

FSU fan here - we're the definition of "on the bubble" this year. Good record in a good conference, but such a crappy OOC schedule we may be hosed.

NCSU is a lock (coulda been a 2 seed but they failed to step up against UNC/BC, and then let Wake just go to town, sucks how much damage can be done in the last week)

Big question about who will be the ACC's fifth team, I think will have to wait until after the tournament but for right now MD has a slight edge over FSU in my book (beating #1 says something, except they were unable to really beat anyone else. At least MD played Gonzaga/GW/Temple while FSU played Florida/Nebraska)

When you go 2 for 14 in Atlantic 10 Conference play, you are pretty much out. I guess we could win the conference tournament but that is so unlikely. I go to St. Bonaventure btw.

Aren't the Bonnies still under NCAA violations?

Oh good, I thought it was my fault cause it went to sh!t when I came to UMD. 😛

We are listed as "should be in." I fail to see how we wouldn't be in. We are ranked 25th in the AP and 24th in the Coach's poll.

For the first time since the beginning of time University of Kentucky (UK) and University of Louisville (UL) probably won't be in the dance.
