Polaris goes Embedded - AMD Radeon E9170

Very interesting IMO. It looks like AMD has created and MCM gpu for use in medical imagining devices, casino displays and slot machines, and more. Possibly they could even be using something similar for automotive (like with Tesla). This throws cold water on the rumor that intel will be teaming up with Telsa for infotainment. Why would you pair an extremely low-performance intel iGPU with an infotainment system in a premium car when you have both nvidia and AMD available to do the same job?

50 Watt TDP for embedded. Heck, it's slower than the E9260 by a large margin and consumes just as much power. I really don't get the point, just more chip harvesting?
