There's more skill than that. Some of my friends are pretty damn good with the probabilities (i.e. 'know when to hold, when to fold'.) If its single-deck and they're right of dealer, watch out!Originally posted by: Skyclad1uhm1
Too bad it's purely a game of chance, with the only skill involved being bluffing.
I prefer Bridge as cardgame.

Try playing Bridge, then you face having to know the positioning on a full deck of cards, who will have which card, and in what order they'll play them depending on what you play.

Never played Bridge but I've played Pinochle. As much as I like Pinochle I must say there's a reason you don't see it on TV like no limit Texas hold'em. It doesn't have the excitement or suspense of no limit hold'em. I'm guessing Bridge is the same way - fun in it's own way but not something that's going to get popular or be on TV.Originally posted by: Skyclad1uhm1

I've never heard of "Strip Bridge" - and if it did exist, I wouldn't want to see the octogenarian results.
