So I got poked in the eye by a finger by accident. It's in the sclera (the white part). It doesn't hurt and there's no change in my vision as far as I can tell. But there's a bit of blood where my eye got poked. Should I be concerned?

Put some ice on it to reduce swelling/bleeding. If it happend more than a few hours ago, don't bother.

If the pain continues, go to the doctor. Especially if you notice a change in your vision. Years ago, I got punched in the eye and the ENTIRE white part was red. I looked like some freak demon. The doctor checked my eyes and said "The red should go away in a month or so. That'll be $50, please."

That's about it.

I've been poked in the eye pretty hard a few times & I've never seen any blood as a result of any of them so I certainly would be.

Yeah, I remember seeing this happen to a few people back in middle school after fights, etc. It does look a bit odd, but as far as I know, they were told the same thing.

Heh okay. I know I was overworrying, but injuries to our eyes, our most important sense organ, just shouldn't be taken so lightly.

 What eits said. This used to happen to me all the time, as a kid. More black eyes and eye pokes than I can count. I always sent the other guy home worse off than me. Mom used to put steak on my shiners. I was a real rumbler...picking fights just for sport. :)

The real question is: What cut of steak did she use?
