pointless mobo upgrade or not?

System Specs:

P4 2.66
2x512 3200 DDR (2.5-3-3)
xFx Geforce 6600GT AGP

I use this machine gaming (primarily) and dual-booting Gentoo.

I'm unexperienced in overclocking, but I think I'd like to get into it. This motherboard doesn't support OC'ing at all, though. It does fine, but I'm considering a new motherboard.

Right now I have a Soyo P4-VGA. Two things that kind of bother me are:

1) It only supports AGP 4x
2) RAM is running at DDR 2100 speeds

I'm considering upgrading to something like this or this, but I don't know. The only thing I'd be getting over the AGP slot and RAM speed would be SATA connectors for the future.

I have $60 in PayPal, but I probably don't need to spend it. What do you all think?
