I have been quite happy w/ my SD200 TBH, but when you have a 2560x1600 LCD monitor & you like taking pics hiking in the mountains, i could see 2048x1536 just wasn't cutting it anymore.

So bearing in mind i'm pretty much a point n clicker who wanted something small (li-ion of course) but good for cheap, i decided to get the SD900.

Got the clearance demo model from the store for $200 CND, but i have to buy a battery charger somewhere, as it didn't have one.

eBay seems like the cheapest bet so far, but if anyone knows where i can get a cheap battery charger in Canada w/o using eGhay, let me know

I also grabbed a Patriot 8 GB Class 6 SD card for ~$101 CND shipped, cheapest i could find in that range.

SD750 especially, SD800 IS, SD1000.

I am pretty newbish w/ cameras, so i wanted to stick with Canon, as i feel comfortable with their options layout.

I like small portable li-ion based ones, so teh 900 is a bit bigger & heavier than ideal, but it still is okay.

I just ordered a charger & extra battery from eGhay for $14, so we'll see how that goes.

I woulda likely gotten the SD750, but the lowest i could get it was for around $285ish CND, so there was no way i was gonna pass up on the SD900 for $200 + charger.
