Point me to a good NiMh D-Cell Battery Charger

I'd like it to charge at least 4 D-Cells at a time, hopefully in a matter of a few hours...
Cost not as important as performance.

you have real d cells? check the mah rating, if its AA level, its a cheesy AA in a plastic shell.

real d cells have very high mah ratings, unless its a C cell in a D shell which would be lower as before
