PoE with wifi extender question for outdoor camera

hello folks
I am trying to setup a security camera for outdoors.
The camera is PoE ready and I was wondering if I can extend the Internet connection from a wifi extender to a PoE switch and then connect the cat cable from
PoE switch to the camera.

Sure. the "Wifi Extender" needs to have a LAN port for this. Just make sure you get one that does.

Thanks for the reply. My wifi port does have the Lan port.
I used to use that PoE wifi extender to connect to my old desktop PC. 😉

POE means Power Over Ethernet Cable.

If it is POE it has to have cable connection.

My planned connection is something like this:

Wifi extender with Ethernet cable > plug the cable into PoE switch > cable from PoE switch to Security Camera.

Will that work?
Please confirm.

Assuming that the Extender is connecting Well through your Wireless to the main Wireless Router and it is configured to provide the Sigal to the Extender LAB port, it should work.
