PoE switch replacement

I have out grown my NETGEAR ProSAFE FS116PNA switch. I am needing to add about 4 more PoE ports.

Should I just add a second of the same switch? Or replace all together with something else.

I am running PoE cameras. They are all 802.3af class3 with a max of 5w per camera. I was thinking of maybe a managed switch so I could easily power cycle all the cameras.

Suggestions?

Comments?

Thanks

Bill

On my camera system I just added another 4 port POE switch. I've got one 4 port 10/100 POE fed into a 10/100/1000 4 port POE fed on to my router. If starting from scratch I would have gone a 8 port POE but no need to spend more than needed now I guess. If you a managed switch that's another issue, and curious why you need to frequently power cycle all the cameras ???

Not that I need to frequently power cycle them. But I have had one lockup from time to time. Only way to reboot is power cycle it. Since going to Hikvision cameras I have never had that issue. It who knows
