It's really cool. I get a bunch of NPR and science shows automatically downloaded to my ipod so I can hear them when I am not near my radio for NPr or when NPR is dragging on...best of all, they are international, so I get a lot of cultural reports from all aroudn the world which I LOVE😀

will itunes work with any other mp3 player besides the ipod? or is there some other podcasting software that would do the same for say, a zen micro?

YOu can capture mp3 streams with a bunch of programs from shoutcast and save them which will have the same affect.

heh..as I stated, the same and better can be achieved with streamv#$ and shoutcast but I jsut having the interface.

As for the selection, it is pretty decent. I'll search for that

I make it no secret that I think the iPod sucks and is overhyped. Just search my past posts.
