Podcast app for Iphone 4s

Hi all,

So the built-in podcast support for the iPhone 4s is pretty lacking so I'm looking for a Podcast app for the Iphone 4s. It seems that people like Downcast and Instracast. What do people think of these? Are there any other apps that I should be looking into too? I'm mainly want something that will automatically download new podcasts without requiring me to go into iTunes.

What do you find lacking in the built-in podcast support for the iPhone?

I'm used to google listen on android where it would automatically download new podcast espidoes straight to my phone. I can't do that with the built in iPhone podcast app. I also don't want to have to manage the podcasts from iTunes.
 
I recently started using Instacast in the last two weeks. Buy it, and never ever look back. It's $2 which is less than a cup of coffee.

The best part about the app is that it treats podcasts like subscriptions instead of individual files and notifies you when there's a new podcast to be downloaded right on your phone. And since it's an app, it avoids the very stupid 20MB limit imposed on Apple-created apps, so you can download when you're on the go.

Perfect.

Not quite true. The default app can't automatically download episodes but you can manually download them (as long as they're within the download limit). A bit of a pain and the feeds aren't updated as quickly but you can do it without syncing to iTunes on the computer.

It still sucks. It worth paying a couple bucks for an app that works well.
