Okay, a guy I work with hates POD(The band) not because he thinks they're music sucks or anything, but he strictly hates them because he doesn't like the fact that during concerts they take time to pray to god. Now, I'm not into all this religious "Crap" but if you like a band... don't you think that it's more appropriate to like the band for their music? Does it really matter what they do on the side? I mean, if anything POD is doing good, people didn't stop liking Stone temple Pilots even though Scott Weiland was constantly into heroin. Help me out here...

But if Scott stopped every concert to shoot up in front of everyone, people would find that annoying.

I hate political correctness. It seems like its not about letting everyone have their own belief anymore, its about making everyone have no beliefs.

POD is awesome. I'm listening to them right now (POD - Know Me). I am Christian, but I also know many Aethiest etc. that listen to them just for the music. They also tour with Ozfest which I think is awesome cause they can do that and still keep straight and share their religion with lots of people.

I've been a fan of P.O.D. for a large number of years (I actually have their first CD from 1992 - probably the first rapcore album I ever heard), and I've always been impressed by the way they vocalize their faith.

In an era when most bands seem to be in it simply for the money and fame, it's nice to see someone who is actually real and isn't afraid to show it on stage.

Secret Agent Man, I wasn't trying to suggest that P.O.D. had the first rapcore album. I knew that Rage was around that long and I'm sure there were other indie bands doing it too - I just said that Snuff the Punk by P.O.D. was the first rapcore album I heard. 8 years ago, my musical horizons were not very broad. :)

It's ok to be Christian, but preaching in any form at a show is a turn off. Be it religious, political, whatever.

It's really lame when like RATM start bitching about their political standpoint de jour or when the Beastie Boys start yammering about the Buddhism. I have nothing against people's beliefs, but there is a time and place for everything. At a live show is not the place for me.

Bands like MxPx and Creed are Christian but you would never know it from a casual glance at them on stage.

Go visit the POD websites. They are a band second to being Christian. And as a Christian myself, sharing my faith is part of my faith. Keep the faith.
