Alright... first off, what's the big diff between bluetooth and 802.11b ? Does bluetooth have a very limited range? I'd like to be able to be on the couch in my living room and surf the anand forums on a pocket PC.

I like the looks of the Asus a620... but the Dell Axim also looks nice... Assuming my main goal is to take notes, play a few games, and surf the web wirelessly, what would be the best PDA for me? I know nothing about PDAs. Oh, also I figure i'll get an SD for expansion, probably a 128mb.

Bluetooth has a smaller range but also has more purposes than network connectivity (connect to Bluetooth devices like headsets and mice). 802.11b is only for wireless network connectivity.

You are not going to like surfing on a PocketPC. Pages take very long to load, which I attribute to the way PocketIE has to reformat web pages to look decent on a small screen. I have a Dell Axim with a compact flash 802.11b adapter that connects thru the same cable broadband connection as my desktop PC but pages load fast on the desktop. Supposedly there are other browsers for the PocketPC which load faster but I haven't tried them out.

Dunno much about the Asus, but the Axims are pretty nice for the price.
