I wanted to get a cheap pocket pc so i can run xlobby or netremote on it and use it to remotely control my music and video. So i'm guessing it has to have b/g wireless and i guess bluetooth and IR would be added bonuses but not required. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Looks like your query generated no response at Anandtech..hmmm

From what I've see,Anandtech is not very rich in activity regarding Pocket PC's which is surprising when you consider so many of the well respected experts predict massive growth in the market (already hapnin actually) Pocket PC/PDA/Smartphones just now coming out with intragated wifi,gps,pda,radio,mp3 etc etc has ahell of alot more growth in them then the desktop PC.

HP iPAQ hx2795 is a good choice. There are some firmware flaws, but none are serious whatsoever. They will be easily fixed in the next firmware update (coming soon). It has wireless b (no pocketpc has g as of yet) with bluetooth and IR (with very good range for remote control functions).

It also has a built-in fingerprint scanner that works very accurately, so it's far more secure than your average, run-of-the-mill pocketpc. The only downside is that it's around $450.

Worth the money, though, in my opinion.
