pocket pc 2002 and wireless cf

hey just got my new linksys wcf11 card for my audivox maestro, but having problems setting it up... so here we go. I am just going to use the card to link into random networks (ie. work, school etc) but I do not have a WAP right now at home. So what settings should I use?

and if anyone here has the same setup let me know where you use yours (ie. any public access points in the Bay Area?)
