pocket digital cameras

Anyone tried any of these? Any of them good?
Like the Cubik, or the one in "The World's Smallest Digital Camera" spam you always get?

Hey,
those spam cameras tend to be totally crappy.. That cubik you mentioned looks pretty chunky actually.. And you could get some fairly good fuji 2 mp cameras for the same price.. When making any purchase you HAVE to think about the track record of the company - ever hear of cubik? Stick to fuji, sony, canon, etc.. If you can't afford a major brand save your pennies until you can - saving a few extra is better than wasting, right?

That thing actually looks rather thick. A Canon Elph or the Pentax Optio series isn't much bigger than that and I'd assume would offer far superior picture quality and options.

Also, you shouldn't get a "cubick" - period.. but it has no LCD display - instant previews are one of the best reasons to get a digital camera.

Sony and minolta make really nice pocket digitals that take excellent pictures..

if your talking about the sony 'U' series, you can stop. Those are pos cameras, with a lense that couldnt take a decent pic if it had to.

only decent one is the u20 which is 2 mp, but with a $300 price tag, might as well get an elph

EDIT: if you looking for web cam quality pictures, any of the mentioned cameras would be fine.
