I know there any many Irish whiskeys, but for this poll, the big two only.

I bought a bottle of Gold Reserve, but it didn't stack up to the 18.

i cant tell you the last time i had any irish whiskey, usually i stick to rum or makers mark if im drinking liquor

Bushmills. I don't like Jameson at all. The rail whiskey's undrinkable, and their high product is ok, but not worth the price. For low end Irish, I like Tullamore Dew, and for higher end, I like Black Bush, and Redbreast

Scotch is my favorite also, but I like Irish for a change. It's got it's own peculiar flavor(pot still), that you just can't find in the scotches.

I had my guy at the liquor store convince me to try Redbreast along with the Jameson Gold Reserve. I still had half a bottle of the Jameson 18 so I was able to try them head-to-head. The Jameson 18 won out for me. I've never tried Black Bush, but knowing me I'm sure I will.

Black Bush or Tullamore Dew. I will drink Jameson though without hesitation.

Jameson is good, but Tullamore Dew is better.
