Great price, but a couple of the reviewers said this card runs REALLY HOT.

All 8800GT with stock cooling run hot. Upgrade the stock cooler or get a 8800gts.

Thanks for that bit of information. Having to buy/install/void the factory warranty with an aftermarket HSF detracts from all the deals on reference-design based 8800GTs.

Seems like the MSI 8800GT with the heatpipes would be a solid card if their prices drop to these levels.

Anyone know if nVidia (or the card companies) have updated BIOS' available to increase the fan speed W/O using a third party progy (e.g., RivaTuner, etc.)?

Oh hell...these cards are in stock again so I went ahead and ordered 1. If it runs hot oh well...it comes with a 5 year warranty with registration at PNY.
