PNY Ti4200 8x vid won't display in ECS K7VTA3. The ECS manual says the AGP slot supports 4x AGP specs. Does that mean what I think it does?

8x cards must, by definition, work in 4x capable slots. That's not the problem.

See whether you got the card seated and aligned correctly.

The board may not post the first time. Just hit the reset button on your system, and the system should post when it reboots. It's a problem with this cheap mobo and the nvidia card. I switched mine to an ati video card, and the problem went away.

Last night I tried it first in the ECS board, then to test, tried it in an epox 8k5a2+ and the same thing happened. I went to bed last night wondering if I could send the ti4200 to PNY (maybe I accidently gave it a static charge) for some repairs and this morning I put i back in the epox and it worked. I can't figure that one out.
