PNY PNY GEFORCE 4 MX440 Startup ISSUE

Card will install correctly. -- PNY PNY GEFORCE 4 MX440
Game play is fine.
THE BIG PROBLEM - As soon as the machine is turned on I receive a black screen. The cd-rom and hard-drive kickon.
The system is booting (Post), but the screen is black. If I reboot the machine as soon as I turn on the pc.
The card will display every time.

PLEASE explain to me a work around or why I would have to reboot my machine as soon as I turn on my pc.

I was getting a very similar problem on my system. Ended up being a incompatibility between the videl card and Mobo. I just had to live with it. You can see if there are any finmware updates for your mobo, video etc.

Insufficient power supply perhaps. To test, remove any nonessential components.
