I was wonder if PNY PC2700 is as good as Kingston PC2700 to overclock to PC3200. I heard from alot of people that they can overclock kingston pc2700 to pc3200 without raising the voltage - they just had to set it at 4-4-4-11 timing or something similar. So can PNY PC2700 do the same? I have a NF7-S so i can raise the voltage a bit. Will I be able to run it at pc3200 with lets say 3-3-3-8 if i raise the voltage to a reasonable level? If not, can i at least run it at PC3200 with a more lacked timing? I'm going to be doing it with two stick in dual channel - will it be a problem at all? I know it'll probably take a performance hit, but as long as it works and it somewaht fast then i'm happy with it.. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

I think that the overclock will probably work. Give the memory a little voltage boost, and try some lax timings. Go give it a try, and let us know how it goes. If it works, you can work on tightening your timings afterwards.

Just try it and see how it goes.

I've got some Muskin PC2700 (basic green) that is currently running at 190 FSB at 2.75v. I'm pretty sure it could go higher, but my board is holding me back, and not the RAM.

I've got some 2x "512MB Corsair Value Select PC2700" w/ a copper heatspreader on it.

I was able to OC these babies to 220MHz @ 2.5-4-4-4 & 2.6V (default voltage) and it runs stable for at least 8 hours under prime95 torture test blend.

My RAM is in Single channel, Dual channel is more unstable than single channel so I wouldn't be able to OC the RAM as high.

If you havn't bougtht them yet why not just go for PC3200? Price difference shouldn't be very big.

PNY memory does not overclock well at all. I own two sticks of PC2100 that will only do 138 Prime95 stable, with 2.9v!
